Backpacks for Kids - The teams focus on getting area kids in need ready for school! It's a Lunch and Love that looks to the future! The Candle of Hope supplies the backpacks, the team collects pencils, pens, crayons, notebooks, rulers, all put together in a Lunch and Love team builder. Most importantly, the team puts a note in each backpack that says, "Have a great school year! We are all behind you!", signed with the first name of each team member. We can only imagine how much this little gesture means to a child who must deal with the many problems that plague those in need.

Help A Neighbor In Need - An ongoing food drive, The Candle of Hope helps your team set up a collection program, a bin, signage, and we thank everyone at a Lunch and Love when we pick up the donations each month. Collected food goes directly to local food pantries.

As simple as an ongoing food drive, or as ambitious as stuffing School Backpacks for kids in need, The Candle of Hope helps your business staff become a Community of Caring. Executives and staff work side by side to make a real difference in the lives of real people where we live and work. 

Make a Mother's Day - Team members focus on the forgotten moms in our region, including single moms, wives of deployed soldiers, and senior moms living alone and in senior facilities. The team stuffs gift bags with collected donations of scented soaps, cosmetics, comfort items, and even specialty foods, the same things we'd give our own moms!

Senior Saviors - Your team is encouraged to focus on Seniors by donating senior-friendly low sodium non-perishable foods, toiletries, and comfort items like robes and slippers. The Candle of Hope provides the tote bags and the team loads them up. We deliver them to Senior Day Care facilities and to charities who directly serve elder needs.
